BEFORE MICRONEEDLING
Discontinue retinol serums or drying acne products 48 hours before your appointment. Please avoid fillers and other skin treatments for 10 days before and after your microneedling session.
Show up with a clean and bare face.
DURING MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling sessions last 75-90 minutes. The microneedling portion takes about 20-minutes.
There is little to no discomfort with the microneedling device. Your skin is treated with our infrared/ red light rejuvenation therapy before or after the procedure and you will receive hyaluronic acid serum with concentrated herbs to use as an aftercare treatment.

AFTER MICRONEEDLING
Redness will persist for the remainder of the day after your session. You may apply makeup after 2-3 hours.
There is no downtime and you can resume normal activities right away.
You may notice dry or flaky skin and that fine lines look more obvious for the first few days after treatment. This is a normal effect of the skin drying out. Improvements will start to show within a week. You will see the full benefits within 4-6 weeks after treatment.
MAINTAINING RESULTS
You will notice an improvement in your skin after your first session. Follow-up sessions are recommended once monthly until desired results are achieved. Results will last 3-5 years.
WHAT IS NANONEEDLING?
Nanoneedling is similar to microneedling in benefits. Nanoneedling uses a single use cartridge containing 81 silicone tips, rather than needles as in microneedling. The nanoneedle does not penetrate under the epidermis (top layer of skin) like microneedling does. This allows more sensitive, thinner skin areas to receive treatment. The goal of this treatment is to reduce fine lines, swelling, sagging skin, and the appearance of bags underneath eyes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR MICRONEEDLING/NANONEEDLING
Consult with a provider to determine whether microneedling would be best for your skin care goals. Patients with auto- immune conditions, a history of keloid scarring, current skin infections/ specific skin conditions, those who are taking blood thinning medications or are receiving chemo treatments are not advised to undergo microneedling.
