Myofacial + Trigger Point Therapy
A combination of passive therapies are used to aid in a sense of deeper relaxation during a session. This gentle bodywork targets the patient’s parasympathetic nervous system – our “rest and digest” nervous system – allowing for improved healing times, decreased systemic inflammation, and a sense of calm.
These manual therapies will reduce myofascial adhesions and restriction, help to slow or stop the formation of trigger points, decrease myofascial pain, promote increased blood flow, and improve nerve communication throughout the body.
Chiropractic Adjustment
A technique used to help restore normal function and motion to a joint, resulting in improved range of motion and temporary pain relief. This powerful tool involves applying gentle pressure or a quick but shallow thrust to the area of joint dysfunction, typically resulting from an injury, muscle imbalance, sustained poor postures, etc.
Research shows consistently how safe and effective chiropractic manipulation is, making it an excellent addition to your treatment plan. Adjustments are typically pain-free and are often immediately pain-relieving.
